Due to its subject matter and overall message, Netflix's recently released Squid Game has gone on to become the most viral entertainment property of 2021. The show follows a large group of debt-ridden contestants who volunteer for a series of deadly children's games to win a bounty of wealth that will completely change their lives. Particular emphasis should be placed on the word "deadly" as only one out of the 456 contestants can make it out of the games alive with the prize.

Of course, since Squid Game went viral with a premise based on overcoming physical challenges, it was only a matter of time before the internet decided to recreate the show in real life, and the perfect host for the job just took on the project. Popular YouTuber Mr. Beast creates sweepstakes-style challenge videos like Squid Game for a living and so released a TikTok telling his audience that if they could get the post past 10 million likes, he would recreate the show.

While 10 million likes might seem like a large milestone, it's pretty insignificant to someone like Mr. Beast whose YouTube channel sits at a comfortable 71 million subscribers and whose videos tend to pull in just as many views. In only a day, the content creator's TikTok surpassed the 10-million milestone and presently sits at over 13 million and counting. In other words, Mr. Beast will be channeling his inner VIP to create a real-life Squid Game.

Now obviously, Mr. Beast can't exactly reenact Squid Game as that would require him to order his crew to kill all losing challengers on sight with live firearms, which the American legal system typically frowns upon. However, he can still dress his people up in pink jumpsuits and have them shoot losers with paintballs or something to keep in line with Squid Game's tone. Other games in the show that personally result in death can also simply be modified.

As he only just passed the "like" goal, whatever Mr. Beast has planned for his version of Squid Game remains a complete mystery, but he probably already has some idea of how he's going to do it and will release more information on how it will look soon. Or maybe he keeps it completely secret until the time of release. After all, no one in the Squid Game universe knows that the games exist aside from the survivors and the people who run it.
