Memes are basically one of the biggest forms of comedy if not just flat out media in the world right now. The ability to get across a point with one image and very minimal text is the perfect calculation of today's comedy.

Every game has about a million memes about it and Apex Legends is no exception. Being a part of the massive Battle Royale genre means that there are going to be some players trying to get good at the game, while others are only interested in the memeable content.

10 There's Always A Bigger Fish

This is the problem with Battle Royale style games. In every game, there is usually one or two dudes that if they survive the opening rush, just snowball and take out everyone. This happens in both casual ranked, which is supposed to make people up by their skill level.

This system can't really protect players against top-level pros with smurfs though, who basically enjoy beating up on weaker players in ranked for the amusement of the drones in their twitch streams.

9 Apex Is Good, But Is It That Good?

Rivalries between games and their player bases aren't anything new. Minecraft vs Terraria, Battlefield vs Call Of Duty and Everybody vs Fortnite, just to name a few. Minecraft in recent years has come to symbolize everything good in gaming, to counter all the publicity that Fortnite gets,

which is weird as people had similar feelings about Minecraft just about half a decade ago. Still though considering how important Minecraft seems to be right now this meme makes sense.

8 Cameo Profiles

The character designers for Apex Legends put a lot of work into the visuals, background, and personality of each legend that you can play as. A lot of people appreciate this, but there are also other people who like to make comparisons and jokes on the physical appearance because let's be fair here, that's pretty funny.

The best one here has to be Gibraltar being Maui from Moana and Wraith looks a lot more like Speed-o'-Sound Sonic than anyone ever thought.

7 Well Yes But Actually No

When you first touch down in any Battle Royale game, the first aim of most players is to find some supplies mainly weapons. You do have those players who are more interested in melee fisticuff matches but those are the rare, like this hilarious exception.

The problem is that if you land a fairly popular area, you probably aren't going to find much in the ways of guns, especially popular and good ones, usually leaving you with everyone's favorite shotgun pistol.

6 Inclusivity Doesn't Beget Anger

One of the more surprising things that new players to Apex Legends find out is that while the Character of Bloodhound presents very masculine, with the whole hunter aesthetic, abilities, background, and voice, the character is actually non-binary, going by them/they pronouns.

A little hint at this is the person doing the voice of Bloodhound is actually a woman and it's modified to sound more natural. Either way, you don't wanna make Bloodhound angry, because they will find you.

5 What Being Revived Feels Likes

Apex Legends introduced the revival mechanic in the Battle Royale genre and it's safe to say that games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone wouldn't have them if Apex Legends didn't implement them.

Revivals are a great way to keep players interested in the game after they die but the act of getting revived can be stressful. Basically every other player can see where you and your team are and on top of that, you have no guns, armor, or gear.

4 Possible Addition

The hype that happens every time a new legend gets announced is pretty big, as more experienced players and pros get to play them and figure out the best teams to put them in and how to best utilize them and new players get to see a new face right before they get downed and executed.

This has lead to some Super Smash Brothers guest character style memes, like this one with Crash Bandicoot, which honestly fits into the world of Apex legends better than most might think.

3 Less Likely

Continuing on the "never going to happen but a gamer can dream" cross over train with the internet's favorite onion-like Scottish Orge, Shrek. Just thinking about the dialogue that Shrek would have in Apex would be great.

What's even better is thinking about what his abilities would be like, it would probably involve the roar somehow, but the idea of his ultimate just being him screaming everyone away would be great. The problem is that Shrek's so big that he would be a huge target.

2 In A World With No Duos, Quads, Or Solos.

Apex Legends is fairly strict with their three players to a squad idea. The game has had some modes that allow for different numbers, like a special event solo mode and the game's special Halloween mode Fight or Fright but other than that the game is built around the three to a squad mechanics.

This way no team has every class of legends on it, but the downside is that if you have 3 other friends that want to play, one of you is getting left out.

1 Accurate, Unlike Most Players.

This is pretty much the standard for most squad battles in any Battle Royale but with the way Apex Legends is played you see this more often. It usually starts off the same, you and another squad get into a fight at range and slowly get closer as it happens.

This eventually leads to both squads getting into shotgun range and downing each other, leading to the downed teammates staring at each other, probably while flashing your shields at each other.
