Though it's not uncommon for a character in a movie to meet a fitting end by the end of a narrative, it's never guaranteed to happen. Some manage to escape death's clutches and live on passed the credits while others are left to suffer the consequences. These consequences can vary depending on the film's genre, with some feeling somewhat cruel.
