There are few things more charming than witnessing a character achieving their goals by the end of a movie. Some characters will usually need to overcome a variety of different obstacles throughout the movie's runtime if they hope to achieve them and, thankfully, in most cases they do.

However, not all movie characters are this lucky. Some will have goals in life that they plan to one day achieve, but sometimes the plot has a different idea. Countless movie characters have suffered unfortunate ends, but some are far crueler than others.
