Mountain Dew has long been a supporter of gamers everywhere. From sponsoring events to fueling players, Mountian Dew has always been the drink of choice. Now gamers can enjoy their favorite Mountain Dew flavor in chip form.
Doritos has finally caved in the flavor department and made a Mountain Dew flavored chip. This comes not long after Mountain Dew released a Dorito flavored beverage called "Dewitos," but apparently this wasn't the end. The chip is called "Mountain Dew Energised," and is said to be a lime citrus flavor. However, one fan explained it tasted like "citrus lime detergent," which may be as much as anyone could expect from this chip. Instagram user JunkBanter commented, "Go home, Australia, because you’re officially the drunkest country on the planet right now."
The chips are a limited time novelty item and are not currently being sold in the United States nor in Canada. At this time Mountain Dew Energised Doritos chips are only being sold in Australia. If fans thought that simple groceries were hard to buy, this chip will likely be a thousand times harder to get their hands on. Plans for a wide release of Mountain Dew Energised Dorito chips have yet to be announced.
