The Trickster God Loki is one of the most iconic and lovable deities in Norse mythology. The interpretation of this character in Marvel has been pretty entertaining, with Loki's perception taking a turn for the positive ever since this take on the character became mainstream. However, there have been different interpretations of this character across the series in the realm of video games are also just as riveting.

Given Loki's reputation as a Trickster, a lot of people don't rate him highly in terms of sheer power. This is obviously fallacious, and most people forget that Loki is a God that should be feared for his power. Some video games nail this perception of Loki being an all-powerful figure, and the following games do a great job of communicating the same.

The sheer number of collaborations and cameos present in Fortnite is truly astounding. The influence and popularity of this free-to-play battle royale game have led to a ton of crossovers, including a fruitful one with Marvel that has led to characters like Spider-Man appearing in this game.

One such character skin present in the game is that of Loki's. It makes for a great time to roleplay as the Trickster God, and winning a game as this iconic character is bound to be a blast for fans of this stellar game.

However, do keep in mind that this version of Loki is nothing more than an overhauled version of the regular player character, so his power level is not going to be as high as one might expect it to be. Otherwise, leveling the playing field would become a serious challenge.

4 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

The series of LEGO Marvel games have been pretty great in their own right, allowing players to explore some iconic locations from Marvel while stepping into the shoes of their favorite superheroes as well. This includes Loki as well, who is a pretty great character with a bevy of interesting powers.

Given the reigned-in nature of most LEGO games, it goes without saying that Loki won't be as powerful as many people might expect him to be. However, that's a minor gripe in a wildly imaginative title where players can interact with and play as their favorite superheroes with the greatest of ease.

3 Thor: God Of Thunder

Thor God Of Thunder

There was a time when Marvel used to release games without really caring about the overall quality of said product. The main aim of these games was to cash in on the hype and buzz surrounding the movies that were coming out, and it was clear as day that Thor: God of Thunder was meant to be nothing more than an indirect way to make the most of the hype when it came to the first Thor movie's release.

Thor: God of Thunder has a pretty by-the-numbers plot and isn't really the greatest action-adventure title around. However, it does give a more extensive look at this hero and the universe he's from, with Loki being another character that enjoys a ton of the spotlight as well. However, his powers really aren't on full display here, making him look rather weak when compared to the rest of the gods featured in this game.

2 Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance series of action games are pretty notable for letting players control a dream team of superheroes from the Marvel universe as they tackle a litany of intergalactic threats across various universes. The first game features Loki as nothing more than an NPC, but his character had more screen time and importance in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

This game sees Loki appear as an antagonist before getting betrayed, which is rather odd since the Trickster God is the last person who should fall for such deceitful schemes. Regardless, this event leads to a change of heart that turns Loki into another playable character in the team. He's a blast to control, with his wealth of powers making quick work of the opposition every single time.

1 God Of War

The God of War reboot has been nothing short of a runaway success, with a more mature Kratos and his struggles as a father being pretty riveting indeed. His son, Atreus, is easily one of the most interesting characters in the game, despite the rather odd moment where he finds out about his godly origin and becomes uncharacteristically arrogant for the grand total of an hour before a stern Kratos brings him back to reality.

However, what makes Atreus really interesting is the end of the game, which reveals that this child is actually Loki himself! Given that the prophecy at the end of the game also reveals that Loki would be the one to kill Kratos, fans can't wait to see how this story will develop in God of War Ragnarok. Regardless of how the situation may evolve, there's no denying that the dynamic between Kratos and Atreus/Loki is going to be absolutely riveting, especially given the massive power ceiling that the God of War's son can achieve.
