A franchise like Resident Evil has given players a ton of cosplay opportunities over the years, ranging from protagonists to antagonists to fun side characters. The most recent installment, Resident Evil Village, threw the internet into a tizzy because of one character in particular — Lady Dimitrescu. The over-9-foot-tall vampire lady captured the intrigue of the internet, Resident Evil player or not, leading to many posts about her and cosplays of her before the game even dropped.
Now that Resident Evil Village has been out for a bit, even more people have gotten on-board the Lady Dimitrescu cosplay train. The Ukraine-based fdcosplaystudio also captures the creepy elegance of Lady Dimitrescu. The photo shows the character behind what seems to be burning candles with what only can be described as the glint of murder in her eyes. The makeup, dress, and styling is impeccable, complete with colored contacts to depict the unnatural color of Lady Dimitrescu’s eyes. While the dress may not be an exact replica of the one Lady Dimitrescu wears in Resident Evil Village, this cosplay shows that an impressive cosplay doesn’t need to be exactly accurate. The expression on glitterkitty1_’s face perfectly encapsulates Lady Dimitrescu and her cat-like nature. It’s not until Ethan starts killing off her daughters that she treats him as a threat rather than a nuisance, anyway.

There are TikToks and Instagram posts that capture the impressive nature of this Lady Dimitrescu cosplay, but this TikTok shows every aspect of the cosplay. From the way the claws seem to appear out of nowhere to the look on yayahan’s face, this Lady Dimitrescu cosplay is one of the best. It also seems like the lipstick is the perfect shade match to the actual Resident Evil design.

The expression on baeloid’s face is a bit more dead-in-the-eyes than Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, but the cosplay itself is still incredibly detailed. The makeup is astounding, the dress is just right, and the hat is the perfect size to fit in the frame without being too overwhelming. Overall, this is a stunning Lady Dimitrescu cosplay.

In this TikTok cosplay video, ceekayyee actually uses Lady Dimitrescu’s audio from Resident Evil Village when she finds and captures Ethan in her castle. The outfit and makeup are incredibly well done, and the acting is spot-on. At this point in the game, Lady Dimitrescu is toying with Ethan more than treating him as a threat, so it makes sense she’d be more antagonistic than straight-up angry.
Since her character was first revealed, Lady Dimitrescu has been the centerpiece of a lot of Resident Evil Village discussions. Though she doesn’t play as big a role in the game as many people would have liked, what players do see is enough to create incredible, impressive cosplays of the 9-foot-tall Lady Dimitrescu.
