Another blossoming romance is the one seen in Final Fantasy X between Tidus and Yuna. Tidus is a professional blitzball player, who is magically transported to another world. On Spira, he meets the love of his life. Faced with being stuck in a dimension that isn’t his, he teams with a group of guardians, and contemplates life with the beautiful Yuna, as they pilgrimage across the land.
Their story is moving, and their romance is a tragedy that most games wouldn’t dare to tread on. Final Fantasy is a series that is no stranger to both romance and emotional scenes, and the romance between Tidus and Yuna presents the best that Final Fantasy has to offer.

They share laughs, love, and a lot of pain and baggage. Their romance is sweet but plagued by the misery and trauma of needed revenge.
