With a new round of console wars approaching, the PS5 has a huge head start with an established player base and a robust lineup of exclusives. The Xbox Series X is a technical achievement of its own, but the PS5 has more exclusives. Whether you're an online buff or a single-player enthusiast, there is something for everyone on the PS5.

The design was revealed, and the product is visually appealing. With the PS5 a mere few months away, fans are pinching every penny to get this console. All signs point to the PS5 being a knockout platform. Here are the most wanted games for it.

10 Battlefield VI

A date hasn't been set in stone, but Battlefield VI will eventually release for next-gen consoles. According to ign.com, "EA also confirms that DICE will release a new Battlefield game in 2021."

Video game developer DICE has pioneered the gaming industry with respect to graphics. Battlefield V was the first game to use ray tracing hardware, which is used to trace light paths. We expect nothing less in the innovation department for Battlefield VI on the PS5.

9 Control

It's confirmed that Control is coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X. This highly innovative game is considered a top game of 2019 because of its unique art direction. Control is another game that utilizes ray tracing technology.

On the PS5, the game will look even more spectacular than it already does on the PS4 Pro. It's unknown if the PS5 will have Smart Delivery (upgrading games to newer consoles), so it might be worthwhile to wait for the PS5 version if you haven't played Control already.

8 The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum

Gollum in Lord of the Rings: Gollum

This game will shed light on some of the events that took place before The Lord of the Rings. It will delve into the character of Gollum and his struggles with the One Ring.

Reportedly, the game will show Gollum as he was before the ring corrupted him. Gollum was similar to a human before being twisted by the One Ring. You might even feel sorry for him by the end of The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum.

7 Resident Evil Village

The Resident Evil 3 remake had relatively low sales figures for the series, yet Capcom's overall sales figures have never been higher. Capcom just put up its biggest first quarter ever. Games like Monster Hunter World and the Resident Evil 2 remake are explosively popular.

The tenth major Resident Evil installment, Resident Evil Village, shows early promise. It's going to be a conclusion to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard's story, and it could take inspiration from Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 7's PS VR support is awe-inspiring. Fans expect nothing less from Resident Evil Village.

6 Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo is Playstation's answer to Xbox's Forza Motorsport. Fans saw the June trailer for Gran Turismo 7, and they couldn't be more ecstatic for this upcoming release. Will it feature VR 2.0 support? And will it utilize 8K resolution?

There are many hurdles to overcome; PS4's Gran Turismo Sport could have used more content offline and online. Hopefully, developer Polyphony Digital can work out the kinks to further fuel the rivalry between Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport.

5 Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is going to release as a separate game, but is not considered a sequel. The game is what Uncharted: Lost Legacy is to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, a standalone expansion.

This might confuse people, but just know the game will be around half as long as the original game, so about 10 hours to complete. Set to be a launch title for the PS5, fans can't wait to see Miles Morale in action as the new Spidey!

4 Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart

This game will utilize the PS5's SSD (solid-state drive), perhaps better than any game announced thus far. In the trailer of Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart, you see Ratchet and Clank skipping from scene to scene via rifts. The SSD loads almost instantly, which opens up the possibility to travel between planets in a fraction of a second.

Ratchet and Clank games play like Pixar movies; the level of detail is overwhelming in the best way possible. You know Ratchet will have quite the arsenal of weapons. Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart is one of the PS5's most wanted games.

3 Demon's Souls Remake

The opportunity to play your favorite games with retooled gameplay mechanics and polished graphics is too good to be true. FromSoftware's Demon Souls is the latest game to join the remake club.

Demon Souls is a Souls-like that released before the original Dark Souls. Demon Souls is a full-on remake, and not a remaster like Dark Souls Remastered. It will be developed by Bluepoint Games, the company behind the PS4 Shadow of the Colossus remake.

2 Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the biggest releases on the PS4. This role-playing action series has differentiated itself with more immersion and a gripping story. In a world run by machines, human-kind has regressed to a primitive state.

Protagonist Aloy will spearhead the next installment in the Horizon series literally. The sequel will be called "Horizon Forbidden West." It will release in 2021 as an exclusive for the PS5.

1 Cyberpunk 2077

Keep in mind that this is a game that's been in development for almost ten years. The level of excitement surrounding this game is thick enough to cut with a knife! Cyberpunk 2077 was developed by CD Projekt Red, the company behind  The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

This role-playing game is set in Night City, a dystopian place where advanced technology mashes with poverty and inequality.
