Kenshi Takahashi has been one of the more popular Mortal Kombat characters since his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, appearing in most games in the long-running fighting game series. However, Kenshi is nowhere to be found on the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, and neither is his son, Takeda Takahashi. Even so, Kenshi is still technically in Mortal Kombat 11 in some capacity, but players will have to visit the Krypt to find him.

To find Kenshi in Mortal Kombat 11, players need to make their way to Goro's Lair. From the Throne Room, facing Goro's body, take a right and follow the path to eventually reach the Treasure Chamber. Take the next path to the right to reach The Jails, and then take the path on the left to reach an area called Kenshi's Last Stand.

In this area, Mortal Kombat 11 players can find Kenshi - or his dead body, anyway. Examine Kenshi's corpse to receive Kenshi's Blindfold, which is one of the most important key items in the Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt. Kenshi's Blindfold can be equipped by pressing B on Xbox One, Circle on PS4, or A on Nintendo Switch, and once it's equipped, it will allow players to see hidden items, areas, and more.

One of the main uses for Kenshi's Blindfold is spotting structurally weak walls that can be destroyed using Shao Kahn's Hammer. Players will actually have to use it to escape the Kenshi's Last Stand area and explore the rest of the Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt.

Kenshi's Blindfold will also make it possible to find another classic Mortal Kombat character hiding in the Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt. With the Blindfold equipped, Mortal Kombat 11 players will be able to find none other than Reptile hiding in the Krypt, though he, like Kenshi, is not part of the roster.

Having Kenshi's Blindfold in Mortal Kombat 11 will help players more thoroughly explore the Krypt, in turn allowing them to unlock more of the game's cosmetic items.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
