Everyone knew there were going to be some heavy hitters in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1, but only recently did audiences learn the full story. After countless leaks and rumors, the complete roster of fighter was finally unvieled, and includes a familiar cyborn assassin that promised to "be back."

Looks like he made good on that promise. The Terminator T-800 is joining the Mortal Kombat 11 roster in the very near future. Kombat Pack 1 will include six new fighters, with two already having joined the fray. Shang Tsung was the first to be released back in June and Nightwolf is the most recent character to be added. The next fighter to release is the T-800 Terminator, which will be releasing on October 8, 2019.

Aside from the announcement of his inclusion and when he will drop, there aren't very many details. No list of moves, no fatalities and so forth. But there are some nice shots of the character that provide a good idea of how he'll look in-game. Terminator will bear the likeness of Mr. Schwarzenegger, of course, but it looks like he will be the older version that will appear in the upcoming sequel and not Arnold in his prime from the 80s or 90s. That doesn't mean he won't be kicking ass; it's what Terminators were made for. Teasers for the upcoming DLC character should drop in the near future, as he is the next in line to release. Once he gets a proper trailer, many of the juicy details fans are craving will finally be shown.

mortal kombat 11 terminator gameplay reveal date

The Terminator DLC was leaked a few months back, around the time Shan Tsung released. Actually, less leaked and more discovered by accident. The information came from a YouTuber who was searching around on Google and stumbled upon an ad for the unannounced Terminator DLC. The ad labeled Terminator as a new character and even promoted a fatality trailer. Soon afterwards, it did not appear as a result of any search and was clearly an oversight by Google.

The Terminator T-800 is just one of four character left in Kombat Pack 1. After Terminator, players can look forward to Sindel, Joker, and Spawn, who will be the last fighter to release. The full Kombat Pack 1 roster leaked last night, and it included release dates and images for each character.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
