Mortal Kombat 11 fans have eagerly been anticipating the release of the T-800 Terminator into the gore-filled fighting game, but they haven't even seen him in action. With just a week to go until the Terminator comes to Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm has finally confirmed when the highly anticipated character will get his long-awaited gameplay reveal trailer.

NetherRealm has released a new Mortal Kombat 11 teaser trailer that reveals when fans can expect the first Terminator gameplay trailer to drop. It's been confirmed that the first T-800 Terminator gameplay for Mortal Kombat 11 will be revealed on Tuesday, October 1, at "0600 hours." 0600 hours translates to 6:00am, so fans can expect to see the Terminator makes his Mortal Kombat 11 debut early tomorrow morning.

Besides confirming the Terminator gameplay reveal date, the new Mortal Kombat 11 teaser is otherwise light on details. It shows Terminator target specific Mortal Kombat characters like Baraka and Erron Black, but that's about it. Fans will have to wait for October 1's more substantial Terminator gameplay trailer to learn more.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Terminator gameplay reveal will likely bring with it our first look at the Terminator's fatalities. Mortal Kombat 11's fatalities have been especially gruesome, so it will be exciting to see what the developers at NetherRealm were able to dream up for the T-800. It's quite likely that the fatalities will pay homage to some of the more iconic scenes from the films, but fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.

The T-800 in Mortal Kombat 11 won't be voiced by Arnold Schwarzenegger, but should otherwise be a faithful adaptation of the character. It's being added to Mortal Kombat 11 partly to advertise the upcoming film Terminator: Dark Fate, which explains why the Terminator is appearing in not just Mortal Kombat, but is also in Gears 5 as a playable character as well.

As far as future DLC characters go, Mortal Kombat 11 fans have Sindel to look forward to on November 26, Joker on January 28, and Spawn on March 17. The Terminator will be out on October 8, with a gameplay reveal coming on October 1.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
