With Mortal Kombat 11's Joker DLC having been out for a couple of days now for Kombat Pack owners, fans are looking ahead to what's next for the popular fighting game. The next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11 is none other than Spawn, who will launch this coming March, but so far NetherRealm hasn't released many details about the character. However, an image of a Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn toy has leaked online, revealing an interesting detail about the character in the process.
It appears as though Spawn's primary weapon in Mortal Kombat 11 will be a sword. Of course, it seems likely that Spawn will also utilize his chains and demonic cape, as well as some of his more elaborate abilities from the comic books. However, specific details are unavailable at this time, and we won't learn more until NetherRealm decides to give Spawn a proper unveiling.
As for when the MK11 Spawn will be revealed, that's hard to say. The Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC release date is March 17 for Kombat Pack owners, so it's possible that a reveal will come in February at some point. Then again, it's not out of the question that NetherRealm will wait until March to really show anything about the Spawn DLC.
When NetherRealm Studios does decide to properly showcase Spawn, fans can expect to see his Brutalities, Fatalities, and more. A Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn reveal may also give fans a look at some of the alternate skins and cosmetic items that will be added to the game alongside Spawn, and it will be interesting to see if any of them include other characters from the comic book series.
After all, the Mortal Kombat 11 Joker DLC was added to the game alongside the DC Elseworlds skin pack, giving fans a chance to customize certain characters with new DC Comics-inspired looks. Perhaps the Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC will come with its own skin pack that lets players customize characters to make them look like Violator, Mammon, or other members of Spawn's rogues gallery.
With the Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC release date coming up in March, fans should learn more within the next month or so.
