Mortal Kombat 11's next DLC character, Spawn, is set to release in less than one week's time, and fans are now starting to get some extensive looks at this highly-anticipated fighter. Last weekend, for instance, a Spawn gameplay trailer was revealed, and it showcased the legendary comic book character's combat abilities, Fatal Blow, and first Fatality. While indeed this trailer gave players quite a bit of information about Spawn, there is still more to see, including two new intro dialogues that can be found below.

These two Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn intro dialogues were recently shared on Twitter, and the first sees the Hellspawn square off against Liu Kang. "I don't buy your pious act," the forthcoming MK11 DLC character says to Kang, who responds with reassurance that he is indeed a Buddhist monk. Spawn is still not convinced of Kang's absolute piety, though, stating his belief that "everyone's got a dark side."

The second new intro begins with Spawn in his classic costume, preparing to go toe to toe with Kotal Kahn. "You have a god complex," Spawn says to the fourth Emperor of Outworld, who justifies his delusions of grandeur by saying "if Earthrealmers worship me, why not let them?" Spawn takes this response as an opportunity to use a bit of word play, quipping, "because you're conning them, Kotal."

For fans that still want to see more of Spawn after watching these new intros, NetherRealm has also shared some of Spawn's Mortal Kombat 11 skins in a recent blog post. While this post does highlight the two skins featured in the videos found above, it also shows off his Commando and Custom skins, the latter of which is "NetherRealm’s uniquely sinister take on Spawn," which fans will be able to wear into battle starting next week.

Additionally, a Spawn Kombat Kast is set to occur later today, March 11, and that presentation should give players a fairly comprehensive understanding of the character in preface of his release. Indeed, fans are likely to walk away from today's Kombat Kast with knowledge of Spawn's tournament variations, general game plan, and more, which will allow players to begin real discussions about how this DLC character might fit into the established metagame.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
