NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat 11 is now available worldwide except in Indonesia. While the majority of players are just getting their hands on the latest fighting game, Snoop Dogg, who is no stranger to the video game community, and a few of his friends were able to sneak a preview and stream a tournament of Mortal Kombat 11 a few hours before its release date.

The Mortal Kombat tournament, which is entitled "Snoop Dogg's Gangsta Gaming League," is sponsored by the game's publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and was live-streamed via Snoop's Twitch and Mixer channels. The rapper was also joined by special guests such as 21Savage, Playboy model Rachel Ako, actor Kamil McFadden, Rachel Swindler from Big Brother, and a few others.

The last time that Snoop Dogg was ever talked about in the gaming community was when a Spyro Drone delivered a copy of the game to the rapper. The drone's journey began from Stone Hill, New York and made its way to the rapper's home all the way across the country, in Los Angeles, California. However, the rapper also became infamous in the streaming community after Snoop Dogg was caught faking his gameplay of SOS, which was live-streamed in his Twitch channel.

Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest installment in the long-standing fighting game franchise that began way back in the early '90s. The series is also widely considered one of the most successful fighting franchises in the history of video games, which has led to attention both good and bad.

Although Mortal Kombat 11 is barely a day old, reviews of the game have already begun pouring online. While the game has mostly received positive reviews, some reviewers found that Mortal Kombat 11 has a brutal grind to progress and earn gear. However, developer NetherRealm was quick to respond and said that it would be addressing the issue right away by re-balancing the progression system.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on the PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
