Mortal Kombat 11, the fifth entry from NetherRealm Studios in the decades-old fighting game series, was released this year to a warm critical reception. Bringing the return of classic Mortal Kombat features such as Fatalities and Brutalities, as well as a few new ones in the form of the mid-combat Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows, Mortal Kombat 11 is an evolution of a tried and tested formula.

A key part of that formula has always been the introduction of new fighters post-release to keep the game fresh and the audience engaged. Mortal Kombat 11 is no exception to this rule, and has recently released returning fighter Sindel, last playable in 2011's Mortal Kombat reboot.

Sindel the Revenant Queen

Apart from a few changes to her previous backstory, Sindel is little different in her DLC return to the Mortal Kombat universe. A versatile fighter with a mix of close-range spear and hair attacks, long-range soul attacks and tricksy spirit moves, Sindel is at her best when chaining her quick and diverse move-set into devastating combos.

Players who master her unique style will soon be reducing their enemies to zero HP with ease, leaving them open for the game's trademark Fatalities. Before we can outline these however, it's important to make sure players know which buttons to press to pull them off on their particular console. Fortunately, there are only two action buttons needed to pull off Sindel's Fatalities, one for each:

Button 1 is Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, Y on Switch.

Button 4 is O on PS4, B on Xbox One, A on Switch.

Finish Them!

The first of Sindel's Fatalities is called Scream Queen, and it involves her flesh-stripping vocal abilities. To perform it on a defeated foe, players should approach to close-range and press Down, Down, Forward and then Button 4. This is Sindel's default Fatality, though the results are anything but.

The second of Sindel's Fatalities is whimsically called Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow, and features her strangely animate hair-style used to deadly effect. To perform it, players will need to get into mid-range, which is around a jump away, and press Back, Forward, Back and Button 1. This is Sindel's Hidden Fatality, and as such won't be officially unlocked until players have completed the first round of her character towers in the Towers of Time.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
