Mortal Kombat 11's next Kombat Pack is right around the corner, which means fans of the fighting game are about to have some new skins available to change things up. In addition to the DC Birds of Prey-inspired Harley Quinn skin coming for Cassie Cage, it sounds like Mortal Kombat 11's Sonya Blade is also getting a pop culture inspired skin in the near future.

The new gameplay trailer for the Mortal Kombat 11 Terminator fighter has fans of the fighting game excited for the franchise crossover and it looks like the Terminator content isn't stopping there. A new video posted by Ed Boon confirms that Sonya Blade is getting a new skin that will allow her to take on the look of Terminator franchise heroine Sarah Connor.

For those unfamiliar with Terminator lore, Sarah Connor has been a staple of the Terminator franchise since the very first film when she was the primary target of the killing machine. She's bulked up and toughened up a lot in the years since her first adventure and the new Sonya Blade skin looks like it will do an awesome job capturing her essence.

At this point, it is unclear when the new Sonya Blade skin becomes available or if it is a part of the upcoming Kombat Pack. Although the teaser doesn't confirm the Kombat Pack, it seems highly likely considering the timing and theme of the content. There will be a new MK11 Kombat Kast happening today, so more details about all of the new content should arrive when that airs.

Gamers who are excited about the Terminator-themed content but haven't tried out MK11 yet should know that it's definitely not too late to dive into the game. Check out this list of best Mortal Kombat 11 fighters for new players to help get started in the game.
