Mortal Kombat 11 players have been waiting on Nightwolf, the newest addition to the fighting game roster, with bated breath. Fans don't have to wait too much longer, though, as WB Games announced Nightwolf's exact release time for those who can download him on August 13.

Nightwolf is the latest DLC character to come to Mortal Kombat 11. His release date was confirmed earlier in the month in his reveal trailer, but it wasn't until now that players would know exactly when this returning character would be available for download.

Nightwolf will be released at 10 AM Pacific Time tomorrow for most countries and regions. For other time zones, that means that the new Mortal Kombat 11 fighter will be available at 1 PM Eastern Time, 5 PM GMT, and 3 AM AEST on August 14. The only exception at this time is PS4 players that are using the Asian PlayStation Store. They can download Nightwolf at noon JST on August 13.

However, this is only for players that have the Kombat Pass, Mortal Kombat 11's season pass. Nightwolf is the second DLC character of the Kombat Pack, and while he's available to buy separately, only season pass players will be able to download him tomorrow. Otherwise, Nightwolf will not be available to purchase until August 20. The Kombat Pack includes all the DLC characters that have been announced thus far and two other, unannounced characters, so it's worth a purchase if having all the fighters is a priority.

Nightwolf is a long-standing character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, first appearing in Mortal Kombat 3. The Earthrealm warrior returns with his tomahawk and spirit power in Mortal Kombat 11, calling upon ghostly animals to help him fight. How Nightwolf will play in the competitive meta remains to be seen, but he may shake up the current top tier fighters with his abilities.

After Nightwolf's release in Mortal Kombat 11, players have two more DLC fighters to expect. First is Mortal Kombat 11's Sindel, the former queen of Edenia and Kitana's mother, and then the cross-over character Spawn. Even then, two more characters will be a part of the Kombat Pack, but they're not yet revealed.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version currently in development.
