mortal kombat dlc pack trailer

The full roster of the upcoming DLC Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11 was leaked yesterday. Developer NetherRealm Studios originally planned to give players a countdown timer that would reveal a new trailer for the DLC pack. However, some players were able to manipulate the URL and were able to uncover Kombat Pack's full roster and its release date.

Now, NetherRealms just dropped the full trailer for its upcoming Kombat Pack, confirming yesterday's leak. The trailer opens with Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, both of which are already available in Mortal Kombat 11. The camera then pans to the remaining DLC characters including DC's Joker, Image Comics' Spawn, Terminator T-800, and the return of Mortal Kombat's Sindel.

While the latest preview didn't show off the fatalities and brutalities of the upcoming fighters, it provided a better look of the upcoming fighters. Confirming the release date leak, the first to join Shang Tsung and Nightwolf in Mortal Kombat 11 is Terminator T-800 releasing on October 8, followed by Sindel on November 24, Joker on January 26, and finally, Spawn on March 17. Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack will include 1 week of exclusive early access together with skin and gear for each DLC character, and 19 more additional skins.

It is worth remembering that all of the announced DLC character had already been leaked even before the release of Mortal Kombat 11 four months ago. The characters that were uncovered by dataminers but were not included in the Kombat Pack are Ash Williams from Evil Dead, and returning characters, Sheeva and Fujin.

Meanwhile, NetherRealm's creative director Ed Boon teased yesterday that the studio is preparing to commence its second Krypt Event. As of the moment, it is still unclear whether the second Krypt Event will follow the format of the first, which tasked players of hunting down a special gold Kronika Vault, containing special items exclusive to the event.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
