With Spawn currently set to release next month, many are currently looking beyond the antihero and are curious as to who will join the Mortal Kombat 11 roster next. This has led to several rumors, leaks, and more concerning the rumored Kombat Pack 2, but all signs point to at least three figures: Sheeva, Fujin, and Evil Dead's Ash Williams. These characters were named on a pre-release leak that ended up being 100% accurate, so at this rate, any "leak" without these characters won't even get the time of day.

In recent days, there have been two contradictory MK11 rumors to appear concerning Kombat Pack 2. Each include the aforementioned characters, but the first stated that it would once again consist of 6 characters, with Halloween's Michael Myers, Havik, and Takeda joining those aforementioned characters. The other states that it will only consist of 4 characters this time around, with Havik joining the all but officially confirmed characters. For now, it's hard to pass verdict on what's right or wrong without word from NetherRealm Studios, but here's a few names we wouldn't mind seeing.

NOTE: There are more characters here than possible, simply because it is so hard to fit any number of Mortal Kombat 11 characters into undefined slots, and Sheeva, Fujin, and Ash Williams also go unmentioned, as they are practically shoe-ins.

Mortal Kombat 11: Michael Myers

Michael Myers holding up a knife in Halloween

Well before the Michael Myers leak, fans have been clamoring to see the serial killer in-game. Mortal Kombat X saw several horror icons appear in-game, so it makes sense for this to continue with Michael Myers and Ash Williams (in a way) being added to the game. Combine this with the fact that a new Halloween movie is slated for this year, and it makes a lot of sense as to why this character could appear.

That said, this is also a double-edged sword, as any Halloween fan aware of the movie and aware of Mortal Kombat X's horror icons could make this up. It's uncertain at this time if that MK11 leak held any truth to it, but fingers crossed that Michael Myers, at the very least, is accurate.

Mortal Kombat 11: Sektor

Sektor may have exploded at the end of Mortal Kombat 11, but if there's anything learned from the current timeline, it's that no one is ever truly gone (except for Mileena, maybe?) However it plays out, seeing Sektor make the transition from NPC to playable character wouldn't be too different than Sheeva, and many would love to play the Cyborg again.

Mortal Kombat 11: Rain

While Mileena is one Mortal Kombat 11 characters fans will likely never see despite begging for, hopefully that's not the case with Rain. After all, Rain alongside a few others went for 9 years without appearing in a game, from Mortal Kombat 4 to Mortal Kombat Deception, and there are many who want to see his return sooner than that. He has a couple of cameos in Mortal Kombat 11 that basically leave his story ending in mystery. Bringing Rain back would be another fun Edenian addition, following in the path of Sindel.

Mortal Kombat 11: Reptile

Alongside Mileena and Rain, perhaps one of the most requested characters is Reptile. Many thought he'd be added to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster prior to the release of the game, but as it turned out, he just appears in the Krypt. His role here could potentially mean that he's never added as a full-fledged fighter, which would be a shame, but if he were to be announced alongside Kombat Pack 2, it seems safe to say he'd be well-received.

Mortal Kombat 11: Takeda or Kenshi

Takeda is another good choice, as fans have seemed to clamor for his return from Mortal Kombat X. There's some question about using a character introduced in X as DLC for 11, but regardless, it stands to reason that many would support his return. It's worth mentioning that unlike some of the rumored and 'leaked' characters, Takeda really has no official evidence one way or the other. As such, he seems like a hard character to place bets on, but if not Takeda, then Mortal Kombat's Kenshi is a possibility as well. Kenshi is another popular character and the father of Takeda, so with either father or son, it's hard to go wrong.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
