The Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC won't be out until March 17, but footage of what it will entail has already been revealed by NetherRealm Studios. Some of this Spawn DLC footage includes intro dialogue between him and other characters, and one such interaction lends a lot more credibility to one of the biggest Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 leaks.

There is a conversation between Spawn and Raiden in Mortal Kombat 11 where the two discuss Batman. What's notable about this dialogue is that it's the exact same, word-for-word dialogue that was leaked all the way back in April of 2019. That same leak included dialogue for other characters as well, lending further credibility to the leak and potentially giving fans an idea of what to expect from Kombat Pack 2.

For example, the same leak where the Spawn/Raiden dialogue was revealed also included leaked dialogue between Evil Dead's Ash and Spawn. The leak also included other characters that have yet to make their way to the game in the form of Fujin and Sheeva. Sheeva, it should be noted, appears in the Mortal Kombat 11 story cut-scenes, but is not a current member of the playable roster.

Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn

It's possible that Ash, Fujin, and Sheeva were planned Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters that have been scrapped. It's also possible that they are being saved for the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2, though that has yet to be announced. While many fans assume that Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 is on the way, NetherRealm has yet to actually mention it, and so fans should keep their expectations in check.

Alternatively, Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 could be in development, but it may feature completely different characters than the ones that have been leaked so far. Basically, Mortal Kombat 11 fans won't know for sure until an official announcement is made either confirming or debunking Kombat Pack 2.

If a Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 is in the works, it's unlikely to be announced before the Spawn DLC is released. The Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC release date is March 17, so information on what's next should come at some point after that.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
