NetherRealm Studios has yet to announce that a Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 is even in development, but that hasn't stopped fans from speculating on which characters could be included. This also hasn't stopped supposed "leaks" from making their way online, claiming to reveal all of the new characters that are supposedly in the works for Mortal Kombat 11. Now a "leak" from back in January is getting renewed attention after appearing on some YouTube channels, including well-known Mortal Kombat YouTuber Dynasty.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 leak originates from 4chan and claims to reveal the Kombat Pack 2 characters. The anonymous leaker claims that Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 will actually consist of six characters, those being: Fujin, Sheeva, Ash Williams from Evil Dead, Takeda, Havik, and Halloween's Michael Myers.

Fans should take this information with a massive grain of salt, as it's likely fake. There is some datamined evidence that Fujin, Sheeva, and Ash from Evil Dead could legitimately be coming to Mortal Kombat 11, but there's been no evidence that Takeda, Havik, or horror movie icon Michael Myers are in the works for the game. It's technically possible that this supposed leaker has legitimate insider information, but fans should keep their expectations in check.

As far as release dates go, the leaker says that the Kombat Pack 2 content will lead Mortal Kombat 11 players into 2021, but release date information for most of the character isn't specified. They did say that the Mortal Kombat 11 Michael Myers DLC will release alongside the Halloween Kills movie, which is set to premiere in theaters on October 16, 2020. It will also apparently include a Laurie Strode skin for Cassie Cage, so that would be interesting to see.

But again, it's unlikely that this Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 leak is accurate, so Halloween fans shouldn't get their hopes up. Fake Mortal Kombat leaks are a dime a dozen online, and so fans shouldn't believe anything until there's an official announcement.

In the meantime, there's still one more character for the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1 that has yet to be added to the game. Comic book character Spawn is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 in March, and fans shouldn't expect any announcements on any potential Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 characters until after he's added to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
