Prior to the official release of Mortal Kombat 11, there was a massive DLC character leak that has been proven to be incredibly accurate thus far. Every single character it leaked has appeared in Kombat Pack 1, from November's Sindel to March's Spawn release in MK11. However, it also listed three characters who have not yet been confirmed, but data mines and leaks since then have supported these three characters.

For Kombat Pack 2, all signs point toward the God of Wind Fujin, the Shokan Warrior Sheeva, and The Evil Dead's Ash Williams. Audio for Fujin was recently discovered, all but officially confirming the character would be added to the game in the future, with the other two seemingly being a shoe in as a result. A leak being accurate so far and being so heavily supported by in-game additions doesn't seem likely to suddenly be wrong, though it also stands to reason that Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm Studios could change its mind about these additions at any time.

For those not in the know, Fujin is a God much like Raiden who also worries over the fate of Earthrealm. He has only appeared in a small number of Mortal Kombat games before, so for fans of the character, he is a welcome addition. Sheeva already appears in the game as an NPC, making her addition also seem cemented. Ash Williams, on the other hand, is a bit more tricky. There was an advertisement that he would be part of Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1, but the voice actor Bruce Campbell denied his character's inclusion in the gory fighting game franchise.

Most fans lean toward the theory that Joker replaced Ash Williams to either synergize with the Joker movie release and capitalize the character's popularity, despite the lackluster Joker design, whereas others think something could have prevented Ash Williams from joining the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.

Either way, the current lineup for Kombat Pack 2 suggests Fujin, Sheeva, and Ash Williams will be available, but there will likely be more characters added to it. Kombat Pack 1 featured 3 returning Mortal Kombat characters, as well as 3 guest characters. Assuming that Kombat Pack 2 follows the same pattern, that means there is still 1 MK character and 2 guest characters that go unmentioned.

Unfortunately for fans, the Terminator takes a trolling shot at DLC characters itself, listing Mileena, Rain, Li Mei, Sareena, Meat, and Mokap as DLC characters. This joke, more than likely, rules out these fan-favorite characters as DLC, though still perhaps one of them will take up that coveted empty slot for Mortal Kombat characters, with Mileena and Rain being some of the most fan-requested characters.

As far as guest characters go, these could be anyone's guess. Some of the most fan requested characters are Doom Guy, which may correspond well with 2020's release of Doom Eternal; another horror movie-inspired character like Pennywise or Michael Myers; and another comic book character, like Batman or Deadshot, since Mortal Kombat falls under the wide Warner Bros. company family.

Of course, there's the big question as to when these characters will or could actually release in Mortal Kombat 11. Sindel releases in November, Joker in January, and Spawn in March, so it seems likely that this every 2-month formula would stay the pattern. This would suggest that the first Kombat Pack 2 character would release in May 2020, so fans shouldn't hold their breath for any official reveals any time soon.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
