NetherRealm Studios has issued a new patch for Mortal Kombat 11 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that fixes several annoying bugs. Changes include a fix for an issue that was preventing the Kollector's Trading Table from displaying the correct inventory and the re-implementation of Kung Lao's Swaggering Shaolin hat from Mortal Kombat 11's Klassic Arcade Fighter pack. The patch may already be available on PC and will come to Nintendo Switch at a later date.

The Kollector's Trade Table bug was a particularly frustrating issue for players. The Kollector's Trade Table is intended to be a way for players to exchange items they find in the Krypt for customizations and unlocks, including skins and Brutalities. However, recently players have been going to the Kollector's table to find nothing but Krystals of Life, a Towers of Time Konsumable. Even purchasing all of the items would just result in them being restocked. NetherRealm's patch should fix it so the Kollector is trading proper items again.

Kung Lao's Swaggering Shaolin Hat is a piece of gear that was released as part of Mortal Kombat 11's Klassic Arcade Fighter skin. NetherRealm had apparently given the Swaggering Shaolin hat the incorrect visual instead of attaching the intended unique skin for it. The Swaggering Shaolin hat now has the correct visual and NetherRealm has unlocked it for Mortal Kombat 11 players who have purchased the Klassic Arcade Fighter DLC which includes Kung Lao.

Three other, smaller changes were also made in the new Mortal Kombat 11 patch. Certain augments were not rewarding experience bonuses when slotted in certain gear, but now are. An issue where the offensive/defensive meter had an invalid regeneration rate after Chip Avoided or Last Breath has been fixed. Another rare meter regeneration bug that triggered if it wasn't allowed to cap out across multiple rounds was fixed.

NetherRealm continues to make changes and fix bugs as it's able, now 4 months after the game was launched. Today's patch, update 1.08, comes not too long after the release of patch 1.07. In 1.07 NetherRealm made some significant changes across the board. AI in the fighting game was improved, fixes were issued for online desyncs, and characters received balance changes and fixes.

Expect news regarding when patch 1.08 will arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch in the days to come.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
