Mortal Kombat 11's next DLC character, the Joker, is set to release in only a handful of days, and fans are now starting to get an intimate look at exactly what this legendary DC villain will be bringing to NetherRealm Studios' highly-popular fighting game. Indeed, a bevy of new Joker footage is currently revealing a great deal of information about this forthcoming MK11 DLC character, and that includes full details on his gear pieces and skins.

With respect to the Joker's gear pieces in Mortal Kombat 11, fans will be able to select from an array of disguises, canes, and jack in the boxes, and these can all be seen collected in the video below. While the disguises, which center around a variety of hats, masks, and hair styles, may alter the Joker's appearance most dramatically, his cane and jack in the box are a big part of his offensive tool set, and having the opportunity to customize them is something that some players will certainly appreciate.

For fans that are interested in more extensive cosmetic customization, the Joker's skins in Mortal Kombat 11 will allow for exactly that. In general, there are two primary types of MK11 Joker skins, and these can again be found in the video featured here. The first type sees the Joker in a classy jacket and slacks combo, and players can select from a variety of colors, cuts, and accessories within this group of cosmetics.

The second type takes a bit of a bolder approach, and it features costumes that feel somewhat aligned with a steampunk aesthetic. Again players will have the opportunity to chose from different colors, cuts, and accessories here, but one thing remains consistent within this group of skins: the Joker always has a bloody eight-ball jammed into his left eye socket.

While some fans may wish that the Joker's Mortal Kombat 11 skins referenced his appearance in various comics and movies more directly, the variety of cosmetic options will hopefully allow most players to find something that they are satisfied with. Additionally, it is not uncommon for NetherRealm to release new MK11 skins, and perhaps fans will get access to their favorite Joker variants sometime in the future.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
