Since Mortal Kombat 11's release, fans have been wondering what characters were going to be included in the Kombat Pack. Now, players know many past leaks have been confirmed, as Terminator, Spawn, and Joker have all be revealed as guest fighters. Joker being added to Mortal Kombat 11 wasn't too wild of a dream, as developer NetherRealm Studio also created the Injustice fighting games. However, no one knew when Joker was going to grace Earthrealm with his presence, and it turns out it'll be early next year.

The release date of all the remaining Kombat Pack characters are available now, first thanks to some determined Mortal Kombat 11 fans finding the information nestled in some website URLs. This includes the release date of Joker, the crossover character from DC comics, who will be released early next year, on January 28, 2020.

Joker will be the second-to-last fight released in Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack, with Terminator T-800 and Sindel preceding him. Spawn will be the last character of the Kombat Pack, releasing about two months after Joker. This seems like an odd choice, considering Spawn has already been teased, but this all seems to be official.

Regardless of what character is releasing, it looks as though NetherRealm Studios is properly staggering the release of the Kombat Pack characters to make sure players keep coming back to Mortal Kombat 11 throughout the next six months. NetherRealm also seems to be keeping most of the crossover characters towards the end of the pack, probably to appease fans upset about the mix of actual Mortal Kombat to crossover characters.

Either way, there are plenty of fighters for Mortal Kombat 11 fans to dig into in the upcoming months. NetherRealm is also releasing regular balance patches to make sure the game continues to be fun to play online, too, and there will also be a new Krypt event soon.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also is in development.
