Despite the game nearing its first year in the market, NetherRealms' Mortal Kombat 11 remains to be one of the most popular fighting games right now. Of course, one of the primary reasons for Mortal Kombat 11's continuous success is the steady stream of post-launch DLC that it receives on a regular basis. Most recently, the Joker was introduced in the game, which is no doubt one of the biggest DLC characters that joined Mortal Kombat 11's roster of fighters.

Now, in an effort to bring in more players to Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealms is offering a massive discount for the Switch version of the game, as well as its DLC expansion called Kombat Pack. This deal is also available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, which could potentially increase the game's player base on multiple platforms. Now, Switch players can purchase Mortal Kombat 11 for only $23.99, which is 60% cheaper than its original list price of $59.99.

On the other hand, for players who already own the game on the Switch, Nintendo is also offering a discount for the Kombat Pack, which is now priced at $15.99 from $39.99. It is worth pointing out that the Kombat Pack will give players access to all the previously released and upcoming DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 11. Moreover, a bundle that contains both the game and the Kombat Pack is also available for $35.99, while those who are only interested in purchasing certain characters can do so individually for $5.99 each.

The addition of The Joker in Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack last January 28 puts the number of current DLC characters to five, which also includes Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator, and Sindel. As previously reported, Spawn, who is the last character to be included in MK11's Kombat Pack, will make his debut in the popular fighting game via early access on March 27. NetherRealms recently revealed that the official gameplay trailer for Spawn will be released during Final Kombat 2020 on March 8th.

Apart from DLC characters, the Kombat Pack also features a wide selection of skin packs for players to choose from. Several days ago, Mortal Kombat 11's DC Elseworlds Skin Pack was released alongside the Joker, which allows players to transform Baraka, Kitana, and Noob Saibot into some of the most iconic DC villains. It is worth pointing out that while all of MK11's skin packs could be purchased separately, they are also included in the Kombat Pack, and players interested in getting more than one should take advantage of the current sale to get the best deal.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
