The Mortal Kombat games have had an increased focus on story in recent years, with dedicated story modes full of cut-scenes and shocking developments that impact the series from one title to the next. Mortal Kombat 11 is no different, featuring a rather eventful story mode that sees various Mortal Kombat characters from different timelines band together to take on Kronika, the Keeper of Time. However, there are actually three different endings Mortal Kombat 11 players can unlock in story mode. We will explain how to get all of the endings in Mortal Kombat 11, but please note that this article will have spoilers.

Throughout the course of the Mortal Kombat 11 story mode, players are sometimes given the option to choose one character over another. While in other games, choices like these would change the course of the story, these choices don't actually have any impact in Mortal Kombat 11; the only fight that matters is the final battle against Kronika.

Here is how to get all of the endings in Mortal Kombat 11.

mortal kombat 11 how to get all endings

1. Best Ending

To get the best ending, Mortal Kombat 11 players need to beat Kronika without losing a single round. In this ending, Liu Kang is given godlike powers by Raiden, and he then brings Kitana along as an adviser.

2. Good Ending

To get the good ending, Mortal Kombat 11 players have to lose the first fight against Kronika, but then win the subsequent battles. This ending still sees Liu Kang become godlike, but instead of bringing Kitana on with him as his adviser, he teams up with a mortal Raiden instead.

3. Bad Ending

The bad ending is the easiest ending to get in Mortal Kombat 11. To get the bad ending in Mortal Kombat 11, players simply need to lose the first match with Kronika, and then lose the second match. In this ending, Kronika wins and kills Liu Kang.

Besides the main Story mode in Mortal Kombat 11, there are also the Towers that have their own endings as well, but they don't have alternate endings.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
