Ever since the release of Mortal Kombat 11 last month, fans have been speculating about who the MK11 DLC characters will be. Yesterday, it was confirmed that more information on these Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters would be revealed today, and that has now occurred with a newly released trailer, which not only gives details on the previously confirmed Shang Tsung but also reveals three more fighters for the roster.

Specifically, the trailer confirms that Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn are all set to join the character roster, alongside Shang Tsung, as Mortal Kombat 11 DLC fighters. Furthermore, there will be "two more guests" added via the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pass, though it was not indicated when these additional MK11 DLC fighters will be revealed.

With respect to Shang Tsung, the trailer offers gameplay footage showing the first DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11 in action. As many fans will expect, Shang Tsung in MK11 has the ability to transform into other fighters, and the new trailer shows him assume the form of some fan favorite characters that are not part of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.

Additionally, it is stated that those that purchase the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack will get one week of early access to Shang Tsung, and that early access is set to begin on June 18. Presumably this means that Shang Tsung will be available individually to those that do not purchase the MK11 Kombat Pack starting June 25, though this not directly confirmed by the new trailer.

To note, Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn, and Shang Tsung were all part of a Mortal Kombat 11 DLC leak that looked to reveal nine fighters before the game was even officially released. The remaining DLC characters for MK11 that were included in this leak were Joker, Terminator, Ash, Fujin, and Sheeva, and, at this point, it seems likely that two of these fighters will be the unannounced "guests" referenced in the trailer.

While today's trailer does not reveal the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC release date for all of the forthcoming characters, it certainly confirms a great deal of information that many fans have been speculating about. Hopefully for those that are excited for more, NetherRealm will clarify all of the missing details on the MK11 DLC characters in short order.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
