Mortal Kombat 11 hit the shelves just over six months ago, and players have been busy dishing out punishment with the myriad of characters on the MK11 roster ever since. While many fans would accurately assume that an astronomical number of Mortal Kombat 11 matches have been played, NetherRealm Studios is looking to turn this assumption into fact by releasing a number of interesting stats in a brief video.

This Mortal Kombat 11 stats video begins with indication that 129,315,819,607 pints of blood have been spilled since the game first released — a truly staggering figure that has occurred over 205,262,299 hours of play time. Additionally, the video confirms that players have performed 102,681,131 MK11 Brutalities, 346,522,493 Fatalities, 2,471,804,866 Punishes, and 991,210,275 Krushing Blows during this time frame.

With respect to the Motal Kombat 11 characters that have been primarily responsible for these numbers, it is stated that Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Liu Kang are the three most-used characters in ranked, while Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Noob Saibot are the most-used fighters overall. Furthermore, the video reveals that Mortal Kombat 11's Scorpion is the combatant with the most wins, and he is also the character that has been on the receiving end of the most Fatalities.

Indeed, many fans will attest to the fact that it is certainly not uncommon to go up against a Scorpion player in Mortal Kombat 11's ranked mode, and it is thus not surprising to see him come out on top here. While NetherRealm did look to tone down his power level with a Mortal Kombat 11 balance patch that occurred back in August, it seems that Scorpion fans are not so easily shaken, and the data revealed here suggests that the fighter remains a frequent pick for many players.

Returning to the video, it is also stated that 4,336,459 Qualities have occurred, there have been 65,779,473 Flawless matches, and that 1,129,150,571 chests have been opened. Additionally, the highest K.O.T.H. win streak is an impressive 244, and 21,370,710 respect points have been given. While these stats may not be as illuminating as those focused on individual characters, they are interesting none the less, and they make one thing perfectly clear: there is a whole lot of Mortal Kombat 11 being played.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
