Since the announcement of the first Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11, players have continuously tried to figure out the next fighter included in DLCs. With the Aftermath expansion being the last time new fighters were released, players are itching to find out who could join the Mortal Kombat roster next.

A previous leak last week found a total of 19 DLC characters included in a game file, leading fans to question if a new Kombat Pack would be released soon. While many guess which characters may be making an appearance, Raiden voice actor Richard Epcar has possibly leaked an iconic character.

In an Instagram live video, Richard Epcar answers questions about Mortal Kombat and casually confirms that Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell will make an appearance. Epcar says, "Oh that's right, Bruce Campbell will be in Mortal Kombat. That's right, he's going to be part of the new package."

It seems Epcar is fairly confident that Bruce Campbell will be in Mortal Kombat despite Campbell denying his appearance when leaks suggested it back in April 2019. Ash Williams was been found in leaked game files, and an in-game notification, but was removed after the Aftermath expansion. However, players have held on to the belief that the iconic Evil Dead character Ash Williams would eventually be in Mortal Kombat 11.

It may be important to note that Epcar did not specify that Bruce Campbell will be in Mortal Kombat 11, but just Mortal Kombat. This could possibly mean that he could make an appearance in the live-action movie or possibly a next-gen MK game. A confirmation of Ash in a next-gen MK seems highly unlikely given that Mortal Kombat 11 is still releasing themed skin packs and planning more DLC. It is most likely that Epcar is talking about MK 11 given that he said it would be included in "the new package," however fans should be skeptical because Ash has been teased since the first Kombat Pack.

Ash Williams is not the only character being constantly teased. Mortal Kombat creative director Ed Boon has taken a liking to viciously trolling players about the fan-favorite Mileena. Boon constantly mentions Mileena as a DLC character while leaving fans confused on if she is or is not going to be in Mortal Kombat. Hopefully Epcar is not taking a page from Boon's book by trolling fans on the confirmation of Ash Williams.

Fans may be able to rekindle hope that Ash Williams will soon be a playable character. Although Richard Epcar confirmed that Bruce Campbell will be in Mortal Kombat, fans may want to wait to hear what Bruce Campbell himself has to say about the matter.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
