A few moments after announcing Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm Studios shared more information about this upcoming fighting game, including details about microtransactions. Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest entry in the Mortal Kombat series, offering a fresh start for this popular franchise that began in arcades in 1992.

Following months of leaks and rumors about Mortal Kombat 12, NetherRealm Studios finally confirmed a new installment in its fighting game franchise. This new entry is Mortal Kombat 1, rebooting the series following the events of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath.
