Money makes the world go round, and Monster Hunter World is no different. Players will need to collect vast amounts of Zenny, Monster Hunter's in-game currency, to buy everything they need for their character. To that effect, the three most effective methods for building money in Monster Hunter World are the classic might seed farm, investigations, and the bandit mantle.

Arrekz Gaming, who has a link to a Rathalos edition PS4 Pro Bundle giveaway on his YouTube Page, made a video detailing these three steps. Each is a solid method in building Zenny, but of the three, the bandit mantle is the most effective. Investigations can be cost-effective but are random, and the might seed farm is a slow-building classic.

While farming might seeds is a familiar concept to Monster Hunter veterans, many newcomers may be lost (and these tips may just help the fledgling hunter!) After gathering might seeds, which sell for 140 Zenny a pop, and unlocking the Botanical Research Center, hunters may cultivate might seeds and generate stacks of the item. Completing the four-star “Persistent Pests” quest is necessary to farm the might seeds, however.

Another key feature that can help build Zenny is the randomized investigations. By keeping an eye on investigations in the Resource Center, it’s possible to find very lucrative quests (such as killing 10 basic creatures in exchange for 10,000 Zenny). The last and most effective method is the bandit mantle, which is a reward for the five-star “Redefining the Power Couple” quest. This mantle makes monsters drop rare trade items, which are highly valuable and exist for no other purpose than to sell.

Since Monster Hunter World has just launched today, it seems likely that many gamers are hunting monsters, completing quests, and building Zenny. With the beautiful launch trailer that released today alongside the game, it should be a good day for Monster Hunter and Capcom fans. Good luck out there, hunters!

Monster Hunter World is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release set for some time in fall 2018.
