Ever since Monster Hunter World was unveiled to the world by way of its first trailer at E3 2017, fans of Capcom's action role-playing game franchise have been attempting to absorb as much information about the forthcoming title as possible. Now, brand new gameplay footage has surfaced following its showing at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, with the video displaying several of the new weapons that will be available in the game upon launch.

As seen below in the YouTuber SHAZBOT1211's video, Monster Hunter World fans can get a short, albeit helpful look at some weapons in action, with one of the most notable pieces of gear being the spear and rocket launcher combination known as the Gunlance. Not to mention, the footage gives a quick glance at the Hunting Horn, which will allow players to dish out a solid amount of melee damage on monsters.

According to SHAZBOT1211 – who attended Comic-Con 2017 and captured the footage above – Capcom thankfully has plans to show off even more of Monster Hunter World in the coming weeks and months. As it so happens, the YouTuber proclaimed that the video game publisher and developer will upload 14 videos with new gameplay of every weapon type for those looking to learn what kind of gear will be on hand to defeat the title's monsters.

All things considered, Monster Hunter World definitely appears to be shaping up quite nicely, as fans ought to be more than happy to learn that the game has a rather sizable selection of gear and weaponry. For those who want to get a better idea of how the title's quests and missions stack up, they would do well to check out this piece of Ancient Forest gameplay footage that contains nearly 23 minutes of action.

Monster Hunter World is set to launch sometime in early 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
