Although console players have had access to Monster Hunter World for some time now, PC players will get their first crack at the action role-playing game on August 9 exclusively via Steam's online store. Now, the minimum and recommended PC settings to run the game have been announced, so players can make sure their gaming machines are ready to join the monster hunting community.
It's also worth mentioning that Monster Hunter World is available to pre-order via Steam now, and for those who do, they'll receive the pre-order exclusive Origin Armor Set and Fair Wind Charm. It can be pre-ordered here. Check out the PC specs below:

Moreover, the game comes with a number of advanced settings, such as foliage sway, subsurface scattering, water reflection, dynamic range, and keybinding support. Sadly, however, it has also been revealed that Monster Hunter World will not support cross-play or mods at launch, but it seemingly remains a possibility for the future.
Considering the high level of profitability Capcom has achieved with MHW, it'll be interesting to see where the game goes from here, but since it finally has a release date and required specs for PC, it's likely old and new players will be playing Monster Hunter World next month. With this likely increasing the profitability of the game, Capcom may have a few things up its sleeve for the future of Monster Hunter World.
