Whether it's a gameplay trailer focusing on the Rotten Vale or a video introducing the new Coral Highlands area, as of late, Capcom has been supplying Monster Hunter World fans with ample looks at what kind of content they can expect from the title. Following this trend, the publisher and developer have now put out a brand new clip that highlights the forthcoming action role-playing game's showdown with its main monster, Nergigante.

As seen below in the latest video for Monster Hunter World, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto leads viewers through the battle with Nergigante, as he offers potential players several tips in relation to how one should best approach the fearsome creature to defeat it. The action-RPG's producer also confirms that the quest will also be available during the game's final beta, which is set to begin tomorrow. With this being the case, the pointers from Tsujimoto-san come at just the right time, especially since the beta will have the quest on a 15 minute timer.

For those unaware, Nergigante is an Elder Dragon that is first being introduced in the role-playing game franchise through Monster Hunter World, and the encounter with the creature should prove daunting for fans. For instance, Nergigante is able to regenerate at an incredibly rapid rate, for when the spikes on its tail, arms, or back are broken, they will grow back immediately. What's more is that if the spikes turn from white to black, the beast deals an increased amount of damage.

All things considered, the battle against Monster Hunter World's Nergigante will hopefully prove to be as much of a challenge as Tsujimoto claims the encounter to be, as diehard fans of the franchise undoubtedly want their skills to be tested. While that remains to be seen, fans can at least take solace in the fact that MHW's first review was almost perfect, which ought to be viewed as a good sign for the series.

Monster Hunter World is set to launch on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it releases at some point in autumn 2018 for PC.
