With the recent release of Capcom’s action role-playing game Monster Hunter World, gamers around the world have been completing quests, hunting monsters, and facing Elder Dragons. Considering the fact that Capcom has shipped over 5 million copies, that’s a lot of monsters, and the best way to even the playing field is through weapon and armor development, which requires the allocation of various resources. To that effect, one MHW fan created an infinite mining map for the Wildspire Wastes.

The map, depicted below, takes the hunter on a circular journey filled with various ores necessary to the mastery of the game. Hunters will need to “start from the node on the cliff in front of the central camp” and follow the color-coded path. Players should note that the green path will have the hunter above ground and the red path means to go underground. By the time the hunter has finished the described path, the nodes will respawn, and the player can begin again.

This infinite mining map is best done as a high-rank hunter, as there will be numerous high-rank ores on the path then. Completing this loop should yield the player a good number of Carbalite and Dragonite ores, as well as other early high- and late low- rank ores. Each and every ore on this map may just be what hunters need to improve their equipment in Monster Hunter World. Check out the map below:

After mining the Wildspire Wastes dry, players will eventually make their way to the Coral Highlands. When grinding for resources, check out this Coral Crystal and Coral Bone guide for that area. Each of the aforementioned resources should benefit the player, and after collecting a good stock of ores, crystals, and bones, players should have a wide variety of weapon and armor styles to choose from to improve their performance.

After all, weapons and armor are key to defeating the franchise’s many monsters, and resources are key to weapons and armor. With Monster Hunter World receiving a highly-positive review from us, this game comes highly recommend to anyone who has yet to pick it up.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will launch in Fall 2018 for PC.
