Although PC players of Monster Hunter World had a rocky launch, the action role-playing game eventually corrected the course, even if it still sometimes plagued with connection errors. However, for now, it seems the PC version will be missing out on the latest event, which is live until August 23 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, this may be somewhat expected considering the PC version is essentially a port, but nevertheless, Kulve Taroth returns in this event.

For those unaware, Kulve Taroth is an Elder Dragon in Monster Hunter World based on the Greek myth of the ram with a golden fleece. Known as the "Glorious Dragon," Kulve Taroth cannot be slain, only repelled, with materials coming from dropped items, its horn, and the adorned gold. Not only is this event dragon returning, but it's bringing with it 14 new weapons, which can be seen below.

For those attempting to face Kulve Taroth, the Elder Dragon is typically weak to ice, but when she is gold-plated, she becomes weak to thunder instead. The creature's weakest spot is the gold plating on its head, but if using ammo damage, shoot her forelegs. It's also worth mentioning she is only mildly affected by all abnormal statuses. Check out some of her new rewards below:

Considering Monster Hunter World brings Capcom "the highest level of profitability," it's not surprising to see this on-going support, especially after the solid E3 presence and reveal of the MHW/FF14  crossover. It's highly likely more events will continue to pop up and eventually also come to the PC version of the game.

However, to say the PC version is without support is a falsification. While the team continues to solidify the PC version, the Steam Workshop Support tab appeared on the game's Steam page shortly before launch, which may indicate support for the modding community. Nevertheless, while PC players may have to wait for the next event or their own, Kulve Taorth has returned with new gear for console players.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
