Shortly after the launch of Monster Hunter World last month, fans of the action role-playing game on PlayStation 4 were given the chance to take on a free collaboration event that would net them an armor set turning their Palicoes into a miniature version of one of the Watchers from Guerrilla Games' Horizon: Zero Dawn. Unfortunately, with the quest having been available for a limited time, many would-be hunters missed out on their chance to get the gear. Thankfully, though, Capcom has now announced that it will return at some point in the future.

This much has been confirmed by Monster Hunter World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto during his promotion of a new PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn-themed quest – which starts tomorrow and runs through March 15, 2018 – that allows fans to play as Aloy herself upon collecting the materials to forge her unique gear. According to Tsujimoto, MHW's event quests are going to be on a rotating schedule. So, those currently lacking the aforementioned Watcher Palico armor to match their Aloy gear will have an opportunity to try out the quest at a later, albeit unspecified date.

As far as the upcoming Aloy-themed quest in Monster Hunter World is concerned, those who wish to participate in the free event are required to be Hunter Rank 11 or higher, and it may take some players multiple attempts to obtain enough materials to craft all the collaboration gear. With this potentially being the case, Tsujimoto has advised fans to form a squad with other players to more expediently take down the quest's main adversary, which is a much larger and tougher Anjanath.

Taking all of this into consideration, with Capcom having confirmed that Monster Hunter World's event quests are on a rotating schedule, it stands to reason that the Aloy quest beginning tomorrow will also be available again in the future, as well as the soon-to-be-concluded Ryu armor set quest. So, it looks as if players will have plenty to do as the weeks press on in Monster hunter World, especially with the quest schedule for March being chock full of arena battles and high rank hunts.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is set to release in fall 2018 for PC.
