Several weeks ago, Capcom released a trailer detailing Monster Hunter World’s update for a Final Fantasy 14 crossover, which includes a hunt for the likes of the Square Enix role-playing game's Behemoth creature. Now, the day has officially arrived for residents of the New World to go up against the beast, as the MHW event featuring FF14 will begin for players of the action-RPG.

In addition to the inclusion of Final Fantasy 14's Behemoth, Capcom is also using the crossover update for Monster Hunter World to bring about two other new events, with Arch Tempered Teostra and Kushala being on the way, too. As far as the exact time is concerned regarding when the MHW and FF14 mashup event will start, the publisher and developer has officially scheduled it to go live today at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET.
