Several days ago, Capcom released a trailer revealing new and returning Elder Dragons coming to the role-playing game Monster Hunter World while also sharing details about the title’s final beta and post-launch support. Now, the publisher and developer have put out a fresh gameplay trailer that explores the RPG's gorgeous Coral Highlands region and highlights several of the area's creatures as well.

As seen below in Capcom's latest gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter World, the Coral Highlands appear to be one of the most colorful and intricately designed areas of the game, offering players the chance to dive into its ocean floor-like landscape. Plus, it's home to several of the most marvelously imaginative monsters found in the series, including the adorable wyvern Paulumu–that is, until it's peeved–and the flying wyvern Legiana.

What's more is that the latest Monster Hunter World trailer allows fans to bear witness to one of the most riveting aspects of the game, as it showcases how an area's ecology impacts the life of the monsters. To put it more clearly, they have to exist as living, breathing creatures that will occasionally interact with others in the world, and this often results in hostile moments breaking out between the beasts that can then be taken advantage of by watchful players. One example of this found in the above video features the aforementioned Paulumu and Legiana going at it after a battle involving the former and a player spills over into the latter's path.

It won't be much longer before Monster Hunter World fans on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to jump into action in the Coral Highlands, but PC players will have to wait a while longer, as the PC version has been delayed until later this year. With there still being several months to go before PC aficionados can experience the same game as console fans, one can only hope for their sake that no more postponements crop up during development.

Monster Hunter World is set to launch on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and comes out sometime in autumn 2018 for PC.
