Some of player’s favorite aspect of video games is creating their character, as some spend hours upon hours making sure that their character looks as perfect as they can make it. Character creation is definitely a big deal and something that shouldn’t be taken lightly and the folks over at Capcom understand that, especially in Monster Hunter World.

In the very intricate Monster Hunter World, the way a player’s character looks is seemingly everything and players have been asking the game’s developer, Capcom, if they’re going to be able to change the way their character looks in-game. Capcom has acquiesced to fan requests, but there is a catch.

The first time players go back into customization will be free, but if they’d like to do it more than once, it will cost them. Capcom announced this in a Live Stream and then tweeted that players would need “tickets to redo [their] character appearance” and that it would be “free from March 16, but paid DLC in [the] spring.”

The voucher itself is only applicable to change the appearance of a player’s character, not his or her name or the appearance of their Palico companion. Hopefully, in the future, Capcom might release the ability to redo a player’s Palico, but for right now, the voucer only applies to character re-customization. The voucher is also one time use so use it wisely.

To get the voucher, Xbox One players will start here at the Microsoft Store and PS4 players will start here at the PlayStation Store. Capcom has not announced how much it will cost to do another character customization, but players are hopeful that the price won't be more than a dollar or two.

After redoing the customization of a player’s character, they’ll be looking their best and gearing up to fight Monster Hunter World’s newest monster, Deviljho, in just a few more days. Players are hopeful that even with the latest update adding the game’s newest monster, there will be even more customization opportunities, but this time with new gear and armor to fight the new, big, bad monster.

Even with a new monster, players still have the Spring Blossom Fest to look forward to in April, as that is slated to bring player’s everything flowery and makeover the Gathering Hub for spring. Capcom really seems to be stepping up their game when it comes to adding content to Monster Hunter World and players cannot seem to get enough of it.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release slated for Fall of 2018.
