When the 2022 Capcom Showcase was first announced, the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak fanbase was likely hoping that the upcoming expansion would be part of the event line-up. Not disappointing the fans, the title's producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed Sunbreak's participation. Now, after releasing the game's latest trailer, the development team has also confirmed that a roster of free title updates will be coming to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak after its June 2022 launch.

Though the new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak trailer is only three-minutes long, the footage revealed so much information for the player base to enjoy. A fan-favorite locale called the Jungle has made a return, and new monsters from older Monster Hunter titles such as the Espinas, the Daimyo Hermitaur, and Gore Magala are also making a comeback. Fans will also be able to download and play a new demo, where they can try and hunt a super tough version of the expansion's flagship monster Malzeno.

Throughout 2022, Capcom will be releasing two more free title updates for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. These are slated for release during Fall and Winter 2022, with more to come in 2023. Vague details about each title update was unveiled during the Capcom Showcase, and the provided information focused more on the addition of rare species, subspecies, and "powered-up" monsters. Interestingly enough, the second free title update already revealed monster silhouettes, likely inspiring the game's community to start making their own predictions on which monsters will be added into Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

It seems Capcom is more than ready to launch the latest expansion, and revealing all of these new details during the 2022 Capcom Showcase seems like such strategic timing to inspire fan excitement. Plus with a new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo that is playable on both Switch and PC platforms, Capcom is definitely readying its community for the game's release at the end of June.

Monster Hunter Rise is available now for PC and Switch, and Sunbreak will release on June 30, 2022.
