There is tons of new content to be uncovered in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Players will tangle with an array of new monsters and monster variants, building new armors and weapons along the way. But in order to craft new, stronger gear, players will need to get their hands on some of the new monster materials, which requires them to tackle some seriously strong Master Rank foes. These upgraded variants of the monsters found throughout Monster Hunter Rise, and their new Sunbreak counterparts, can be downright punishing to even the most veteran of hunters.

Thankfully, there are new Master Rank armors and weapons that can be crafted to help combat the powered-up creatures. Many of the necessary materials to craft these items will come from monsters themselves, but there are still quite a few new and rare Master Rank items that need to be gathered from the surrounding areas. One item, the Dragonbone Artifact, is required to piece together some pretty valuable armor pieces for certain builds. Here's how players can find Dragonbone Artifact in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Those looking to snag some Dragonbone Artifact will need to head to Elgado and travel to the newly added Jungle zone. The picturesque and visually stunning locale is the only place that hunters will be able to find Dragonbone Artifact, and they'll need to make sure they're on a Master Rank hunt or expedition. The material itself can be found randomly in Bonepiles scattered around the area, so players will need a bit of luck and some patience to get their hands on the Rarity 8 item. Thankfully, there are a handful of Bonepiles to be found in the Jungle, so diligent players shouldn't have too much trouble grabbing a few Dragonbone Artifact, especially if they develop and follow a route.

Bonepiles will respawn shortly after being gathered, so players can trek through the area and then head back to the Main Camp before repeating the process as many times as needed. They can even increase their chances of finding rarer materials by putting on armor imbued with the Geologist skill. This will give players a chance to gather more than once from a particular node, and even extends to things like Mining Outcrops.

Once players get their hands on enough Dragonbone Artifact, they can combine it with other materials to produce some strong Master Rank tier armor, which can then be upgraded to help protect against some of the strongest monsters found throughout the Sunbreak DLC.
