Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise is an outlet for creative creature and boss designs, ranging from the terrifying to the outright cute. It's no surprise that these creatures also translate well into marketable merchandise for fans to purchase. This includes a life-sized plush toy of the Palamutes from Monster Hunter Rise, to chibified versions of terrifying monsters such as Goss Harag from the same game. One of the truly strange and also quite hilarious pieces of merchandise that fans will soon be able to get a hold of is a pillow of one of its iconic boss monsters, Rajang.

Rajang was first introduced in Monster Hunter 2, being a fanged beast with a gorilla-like appearance. Rajang made its big return in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, alongside a volcanic location as a free DLC update. Its appearance in Monster Hunter Rise is mostly the same, including how it primarily relies on physical attacks and will begin using electricity when it players have brought its health down to a certain amount. Fans of the series can now own the big primate-esque beast as a pillow that is officially being sold by Capcom.

This pillow of the terrifying beast Rajang is nowhere near how big the monster is in-game, but its smaller stature is hilarious. What's more is that it's lying down like it's sleeping, complete with a serene expression. According to Capcom's official store, this pillow is 15cm thick, measures out to be 90 by 70 cm, and will set a fan back by at least 26,400 yen, which is approximately $200 USD.

The fans had a field day with the sight of pillow, especially with the official images provided on Capcom's store. This includes one where Rajang is resting on a couch, with another seeing the beast lie down on the floor with another person. There's even another photo that shows a man thinking in contemplation while Rajang sits next to him, with some joking that the pillow can wake up at any time and become the threat it is in Monster Hunter Rise.

A similar cushion of Monster Hunter Rise's Khezu is also up for sale, where fans can rest their head or body atop its gaping maw. This cushion is available for pre-order as well for 33000 yen or approximately $250 USD, which slightly more expensive than the Rajang pillow. All of these items are currently up for pre-order and are scheduled to ship February 9, 2023.
