In order for Monster Hunter Rise players to craft the best armor sets and weapons, they will first need to collect the required crafting components. Some players might be looking to create weapons like the Hidden Gemini or the Hidden Blade, and, to do so, they will need to find some Nargacuga Cutwings. However, this item can only be obtained by fighting against the fearsome Nargacuga.

Nargacuga Quests in Monster Hunter Rise

How to Get Nargacuga Cutwings

Now, to actually get the Nargacuga Cutwings, Monster Hunter Rise players have a few different options. There's a 12% chance of getting Cutwings through Target Rewards, which are prizes earned for completing a Nargacuga quest. There’s also a 12% chance of getting the item by carving a killed Nargacuga. But, if players want the highest chance of getting the item, they need to break Nargacuga’s parts. This can be done with a heavy blunt weapon like a Hammer or Great Sword. While fighting the Nargacuga, players will notice parts of its body breaking down. Doing this will grant players Broken Part Rewards at the end of the quest and there’s a whopping 65% chance of getting Nargacuga Cutwings using this method.
