Monster Hunter Rise sends players on a never-ending quest for massive monsters to fight and various resources to farm. There is a lot of work to be done if players wish to get their hands on some of the best weapons and armor in the game and become hunters of renown. A lot of this revolves around farming different materials, and knowing where to find them all efficiently is a major advantage for players.

Resources in Monster Hunter Rise can drop from a range of sources. Rachnoid Silk drops from a small monster called a Rachnoid that will appear on the Sandy Plains and Lava Caverns Maps. These creatures look like small spiders and are easily dealt with no matter the weapon the player is using. If they then carve up the body, players will have a chance of getting Rachnoid Silk.

Rachnoid's will spawn in area 7 and area 11 of the Sandy Plains map, which is the first opportunity players will have to get them. The easiest way to get Rachnoid Silk is to keep repeating Village Quests until the player hits 4 Star Level. At this point, a 4 Star quest will become available called The Best Quest.

For this quest, a young girl wants you to hunt down 10 Rachnoids so that she can get the silk to make a present for her father. The good news for players is that all the Rachnoids will be marked on the map when they load into the quest, making them easy to track down and harvest. The mission will also reward players with Rachnoid Silk when they complete it.

Players looking to be as efficient as possible can load into Expedition Tours of the Lava Caverns and hunt down the Rachnoids while also farming for Dragonite Ore and other resources. This is a good idea if the Best Quest is not available, but running that quest really is the best way to get Rachnoid Silk in Monster Hunter Rise.

Players will need Rachnoid Silk to make the Grass Flute and Teddybear weapons and to upgrade weapons like the Arachnid Bow II, Arko Unu, and Kamura Blade III. It is also used to craft armor pieces in the Melahoa, Mosgharl, Skalda, and Bnahabra sets, among others. No matter the class that players are using, there is a good chance they will need some Rachnoid Silk to build a weapon or armor piece that they want to use at some point while playing Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available for the Nintendo Switch. A PC port is expected to launch in early 2022.
