In Monster Hunter Rise, jewels are needed to craft certain decorations, and there are different jewels for players to obtain. One of these types of jewels are called Lazurite Jewels and were added with the 2.0 update that also included new monsters such as Chameleos and Teostra.

These jewels only drop from certain quests, like the Elder Dragon quests or Apex monster hunts, but there is a way to farm them without putting in too much effort. Players will want to complete Rampage quests until they unlock the Apex Rathian High-Rank Hub quest titled "The Graceful Apex Rathian." The quest throws players into a hunt with the flying beast in the Flooded Forest locale.

How to Get Lazurite Jewels in Monster Hunter Rise

By taking on and completing the Apex Rathian quest, players can earn 2-5 Lazurite Jewels per run, which isn't bad at all. It's worth noting that other Apex hunts will also give players a similar number of Lazurite Jewels, but Rathian is one of the easiest ones to take down; and also, its head is easy to hit, which is great for those that want dropped materials from Rathian. Bashing the head in means more rewards at the end of the day.

If the Apex Rathian quest doesn't appear in the quest list for 7-star Hub quests, Monster Hunter Rise players will need to continue to complete the Rampage quests until they end up defeating an Apex Rathian.

As for tips on how to quickly take care of Apex Rathian to make the hunts go by faster, hunters should come equipped with a weapon that has some sort of Dragon or Thunder element attached to it. Apex Rathian is resistant to Fire, so keep those types of weapons in the weapon box.

Monster Hunter Rise has just received its 3.0 title update that adds Valstrex and Apex Zinogre, among other things. This update isn't as prominent as the previous one, but it's still a good amount of content to keep players busy until the next piece of content comes to the game, courtesy of Capcom. Throughout the summer, there will even be Capcom Collabs, and the first one is an event related to Monster Hunter Stories 2.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available for the Nintendo Switch. A PC port is expected to release in early 2022.
