Players will be spending a lot of time in Monster Hunter Rise farming a range of resources. Every area in the game is filled with a variety of different resources and ways to get them. They are then used to build and upgrade weapons, armor, and items to make hunting monsters easier. For some of the best armor and weapons in the game, the resources can be hard to get and quite rare.
Dragonite Ore is one such resource in Monster Hunter Rise, only appearing in a single area in the game, the Lava Caverns. To get access to the Lava Caverns, players will need to complete Village Quests until they reach Rank 4. Players will then be able to visit the area as part of a quest or by selecting the Expedition Tour option when speaking with Hinoa, the Quest Maiden.
When they arrive in the Lava Caverns, players will need to explore the area to find white and blue mining outcrops. These are scattered all over the map and can be found above and below ground. Below, players can find maps for both areas, with the blue and white mining outcrops marked on them. This is the same as mining early game resources such as Iron Ore. All players need to do is find the mining outcrop and interact with it to get some resources.

Blue mining outcrops have a small chance of dropping Dragonite when mined, while white outcrops have a higher chance. However, it may take players quite a few attempts to get their hands on enough to the resource. As a later game resource, the drop chance is quite low, so they shouldn't be discouraged if they need to traverse the map a few times to get enough of the material to meet their needs.
An excellent place in the Lava Caverns to farm ores, including Dragonite Ore, is at the intersection of areas 11 and 14. There is a large cluster of mining outcrops here that gives plenty of opportunities to get this resource. Dragonite Ore is used when building several different types of bow weapons and is also needed for numerous armor sets such as the Ingot Set, Remobra Set, and Volvidon Set.
The good news is that by the time players reach Lava Caverns, mining outcrops will act as a one-stop-shop for ores, dropping everything from Earth Crystal to Machalite Ore. The best way to farm ores is to go on Exploration Tours, as the lack of any pressing quest to complete allows players to focus on farming. There may also be active modifiers during the Tour that improve the efficiency of mining, allowing players to grab even more Dragonite Ore.
Monster Hunter Rise is now available for the Nintendo Switch and a PC port is expected for early 2022.
