The trailer on Ubisoft's official YouTube channel shows off the frantic and hectic madness of Monopoly Madness as players scramble around the map to make money, claim property, and sabotage other players. Straying from its Monopoly roots, Monopoly Madness features a fast-paced style of Monopoly with a focus on action as players rush around the map in a race to beat other players to valuable properties and money drops. Instead of traditional Monopoly locations like Park Place and Boardwalk, players will be competiting for properties like restaurants and city buildings with the option to demolish and remodel their properties.
Monopoly Madness is one of the first games in the long-running board game franchise to stray from the standard turn-based formula. The game appears to follow in a similar style to chaotic party games like Team 17's Overcooked and Moving Out as players scramble across a large open board with Monopoly Madness spinning the gameplay in a more competitive light. Monopoly Madness is scheduled to release on December 9th of this year.

Monopoly Madness is scheduled to release on December 9th for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
